Alaska Program Manager, Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) development: First 406 MHz PLB system in the United States 1990-2001. Research and program development with NOAA which established the first public use of the 406 beacon for terrestrial users.

Developer, Greatland Laser: Partner with Greatland Laser in the patented, laser based, rescue signaling device for military and civilian use now sold worldwide.

Honored at the Whitehouse in 2006 for developing a system that recovered over four thousand children during Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts.

Developer, Virtual Search Planning Process: Virtual Search Planning is a process that examines thirteen specific areas of a missing person case and uses both statistical data and wide area research to create actionable intelligence to determine the location of a missing person. When used within the operational period it is delivered, it accurately locates the subject up to 85% of the time.
